Entry Requirements
Applicants for this programme should be over 23 years of age with a university degree (or equivalent) in a subject deemed to be relevant by the Institute and/or at least 2 years Purchasing-related work experience.
Exemption from Study Modules
Prior to commencement, candidates will be required to complete an assessment of their existing Purchasing knowledge. Where they are able to demonstrate a level of knowledge which meet the Institute's standard, candidates may be granted exemptions from the relevant course module, subject to the agreement of their sponsoring organization. However, the Project module is mandatory since it demonstrates both to the Institute and the student's sponsoring organization, an ability to apply the theory in the workplace.
How To Register
The first step along this fast-track route to MCIPS is for sponsoring organizations to complete & return the Registration form to the CIPS Programme Administrator at PMMS Asia Pacific. Sponsees will then be sent the Student Membership form of The Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply which should be completed and returned to PMMS. The Institute will notify candidates personally of their membership status. The deadline for notification of registration is January 31st, 2009.
Fees
RMB 82,000 per student fully inclusive of assessment, workshop facilitation, project tutorials, course materials & 12 months CIPS membership.
Payment
Fees are payable in Hong Kong by bank draft to "PMMS Consulting Group Asia Pacific Ltd.", before commencement of the programme. Fees are not refundable.
