Bob McConnochie, MA(Hons), MCIPS

Bob has been a senior negotiator in a variety of international locations since 1985 and has been based in Hong Kong, working throughout Asia Pacific, since 1994. Frequently dealing with monopolies and restricted markets in a major service industry, Bob has extensive experience in relationship management and developing commercial awareness within country teams.







Dannie Yung, MSc(Eng), CEng., MIEE, MHKIE, MAPICS

As a consultant and trainer in the field of Purchasing and Supply chain management, Dannie has been involved in a wide range of projects including the re-engineering of the Procurement strategies of one of the world's largest electricity utilities which resulted in an overall 53% reduction in spend. She brings to this workshop a profound knowledge of Asian and Western business practices specifically in the area of relationship management. Dannie is a member of International Who's Who.







Ramon Archer, FCPA, HKICPA, ICANZ, BCom
Senior Consultant

A Fellow CPA member of the Hong Kong Institute of Public Accountants and a CP member of the Chartered Accountants of New Zealand, Ramon has spent over 20 years in Asia during which time he has been exposed to both Asian and Western business environments whilst working within both multinational and entrepreneurial cultures.

Ramon has been a Senior Consultant with PMMS Asia Pacific for a period of over 10 years during which time he has facilitated training workshop, helped client teams prepare for negotiations and tutored clients providing hands-on experience.











IAN LONGDIN, LL.M; BA (Business Law); PGCE

Ian has over 30 years experience of delivering legal training to many companies and authorities, raising awareness of the role and meaning of company terms and conditions for procurement staff and others with contract management responsibilities. Topics have included contract law, drafting of effective terms and conditions, contract management, and the implications of TUPE on outsourcing activities.

He has acted in a consultancy capacity on behalf of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) in connection with the development of the MCIPS programme

Ian is also an examiner for the CIPS at Level 6 of the Graduate Diploma (Legal Aspects of Purchasing & Supply).


Sammy Chow, B.A.Sc, MIMarE, MHKIE, MCIPS

Prior to joining PMMS in 1999, Sammy gained extensive Supply Management experience in senior positions within large multinational organizations based in Hong Kong. By directing Purchasing teams in developing and implementing supply market analysis & strategic Purchasing plans he has developed Procurement strategies and created competitive edge to maximize leverage opportunities across a wide range of Purchasing activities from engineering services to IT & technical design.




Graham Rice, BSc(Hons),MCIPS

Graham is based in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and leads the PMMS practise there.

His purchasing management experience includes senior roles in multi-national corporations in the UK and Asia. Graham has extensive experience of outsourcing and global sourcing in the manufacturing sector as well as having led cross functional and multi cultural teams through strategic purchasing activities.









Anne Young, PhD, BSc(Hons), MCIPS

Anne Young is a Senior Consultant with the Asia Pacific division of PMMS Consulting Group and is based in Singapore. Her previous experience includes a number of roles along the supply chain in a multi-national corporation in the UK.

Anne's direct experience in industry includes working as the procurement representative in cross functional and multi-cultural teams for complex strategic sourcing initiatives. Whilst leading teams through successful assignments, Anne has the ability to empathise with clients and to understand the pressure placed on procurement professionals.

Anne has specific interest in coaching and facilitating negotiation, outsourcing and strategic sourcing teams and delivering training to members of the profession.






Horace Yip, MBA, BBA (Hons)

Horace has been involved in Supplier Management activities since 1988 specialising in the IT sector where he led a team which negotiated a US$2.5 million hardware deal. With PMMS, Horace is currently supporting the procurement team of a long-term client involved in a procurement project valued at over US$2 million.

Horace has over 4 years experience of participating and facilitating role play as a learning tool. He understands and has extensive practice in what is required in order to ensure that this is a meaningful learning tool which participants find to be useful in terms of trying out new behaviour within a safe and caring environment.
